FUN DAY A SUCCESS!

The first “Mini-Bike Fun Day” was a complete success! The rider turnout enjoyed a great opportunity to ride on both the flat oval track and a modified MX track for a single lap!

All laps were fun and quick, and with time trials of each competitor being used to organize the race program, all the riders began their laps in reverse order of slowest to fastest. This allowed the slow guys to grab the clean air to get a good lead ahead of the charging fast guys.

The novelty of riding on both tracks allowed for the diverse bikes to gain position on either track was great to see. There were some great battles going on in all classes, Jim Carver and Ryan Rainville were joined by ‘Offroadmotorcycles.ca' President Dan Paris to ride the faster bikes, they all enjoyed some time aboard and off the bikes during their laps! Sadly though both Carver and Rainville were forced out of the final races. This left Paris to race against three other smaller bikes to compete for the checkered flag.
The Checkered flag was taken aboard Club member Keith Hill's bike, the ‘Black Widow' by the club's weekly race schedule computer guru, Matthew D Auld follwing his pocket bike failing. Matthew in his first ever race did a fabulous job in entertaining the crowd, with his never-give-up approach on the track!

The next date for this superb unique race series will be Sunday September 19 th , so grab your pocket bikes, mini bikes, P50 bikes and come out and have a blast!
